- Protect jaguars and 60,000 other species of plants and animals.
- Support on-going research and monitoring on jaguar and bird ecology.
- Improve livelihoods of local communities around the Calakmul Biosphere Reserve to reduce pressure on natural resources
- Promote environmental education about the critical corridor connecting Calakmul and Sian Kaan
- Create and capitalize trust fund for long-term, sustainable financing of newly protected areas in the Selva Maya rainforest.
- Protect the Mesoamerican reef from harmful land-based pollution
